Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She is most famous for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the main role Jerrica Jem Betnton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is of Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. She graduated Lake Mary Preparatory School, where she spoke as the valedictory speech of the 2012 class. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept her role in Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples also played a frequent part in Necessary Rustness (1991). She was in television film Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. The Good Mother was her character. Layla Grant, a major character in the Nashville second season of the drama. In 2019, Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples in the top spot on their list of the top actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
